National Harbor

After nearly ten years in outdoor weather, the set of eight sculptures on American Way representing some of the most famous people influencing America’s history needed to be restored.  Normally sculptures like this should receive maintenance every two years, so these had started to accumulate quite a bit of corrosion. I followed standard practices for restoration, thoroughly cleaning, drying and resealing these stunning bronze sculptures with wax. It was great to hear all the positive comments from passers by as the visual transformation was taking place.
